Course Overview
Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapy that tries to improve your mental health by modifying dysfunctional emotions, behavior and thoughts. It is an evidence-based practice that helps you to change your perceptions and behave for treating certain problems in your behavior. The course illustrates the concepts of CBT approach with a special focus on “eating disorders”.
Throughout the course, you will learn to treat “eating disorders” by applying CBT approach. You will learn to deal with the patients suffering from Anorexia, Bulimia, and Binge Eating Disorder. CBT method helps you to focuses on solutions and encourages your patients to challenge distorted cognitions and change destructive patterns of behavior.
After finishing the course, you will be able to work as a CBT therapist and help people having “eating disorders”.
Certification
At the end of the course, you will be required to sit an online multiple-choice test. Your test will be assessed automatically and immediately so that you will instantly know whether you have been successful. After you have successfully passed the final exam, you will be able to order an Accredited Certificate of Achievement at an additional cost of £19 for a PDF copy and £29 for an original print copy sent to you by post or for both £39.
