Course Overview
The Paediatric First Aid Course – CPD Accredited is designed to teach you every aspect of dealing with accidents and emergencies that involve children and young people. With this course, you will understand the role and responsibilities of a paediatric first aider, incident and casualty assessment.
You will gain a comprehensive understanding of CPR, unconscious casualty, management of a seizure, head injury, burn, cuts, anaphylaxis, choking, shock and external bleeding, and many more. Learn about the most common childhood injuries and the steps you can take to lower the chances of injuries.
This course is suitable for the learners who desire to be professional childcarers that work as nursery practitioners, childminders, playscheme staff, crèche workers or those working in a daycare setting.
The course will further walk you through health, hygiene and safety guidelines, how to start your own business and marketing techniques for your business.
Assessment and Certification
At the end of the course, you will be required to sit an online multiple-choice test. Your test will be assessed automatically and immediately so that you will instantly know whether you have been successful. After you have successfully passed the final exam, you will be able to order an Accredited Certificate of Achievement at an additional cost of £19 for a PDF copy and £29 for an original print copy sent to you by post or for both £39.
